The Kennesaw City Council has put a one-year moratorium on the opening of new pain clinics not affiliated with hospitals, drug treatment centers or hospices.

Cobb County might have to raise classroom sizes to 40 students, cut hundreds of teachers, cut bus routes and use prisoners to maintain school grounds to slash its budget next year.

Owls Sting #2 Georgia Tech

KENNESAW, Ga. – On the strength of a five-run seventh inning and three solid pitching performances, Kennesaw State defeated No. 2 Georgia Tech, 7-4, Wednesday evening at Stillwell Stadium. The Owls won for the third time in program history against the Yellow Jackets, and with wins over Georgia and Georgia State this season, have now defeated all three local rivals.

Owls Fall to Georgia, 8-3, on Wednesday Night

ATHENS, Ga. – The Kennesaw State Owls softball team went toe-to-toe with the No. 8 ranked Georgia Bulldogs on Wednesday night, but at the end it was early struggles that cost them, as they fell, 8-3, at UGA Softball Stadium on the campus of the University of Georgia.

Volunteer work day at Kennesaw Battlefield Park

A volunteer workday will be held from 9 a.m. to noon April 10 at Kennesaw Mountain National Battlefield Park.
